Sucky pple.. sucky music.. The all things sucky day

Had a sligtly sucky day today...

Had a complain from a grp of sucky customers whom I saw at the cafe yesterday.. It was a good thing Trav and I were there yesterday to witness who they are..

Long story.. but anw, I just wanna say, I am apalled to have seen a few cases of sucky attitudes in teenagers around the age of 18 or 19.. Arrogant, thinking that they are educated and thus can take advantage of those who seem less qualified than them..

They actually thought I was a staff.. and complained about me... I wished I cld just throw the fact in their face that I AM THE BOSS and I am in no way less qualified than them in ALL ways..

Anywaes, Im glad Ive met nice teenagers at the cafe too! Both the Customers and my staff.. Well mannered, hard working pple.. These are the ones who will do well in society..

Not those arrogant Bastards..

Headed to the gym this morning for a run and some weights.. I felt sucky.. cldnt run like last time.. And I felt flabby all over.. Grrr... Hate this feeling and I really miss the feeling of tightness and tautness throughout my bod.. Grrr.. blame the fatty genes..

And I had sucky earphones.. Bought them just this Monday, and they were supposed to be Good.. But they sucked.. They only are good at making me deaf..And it was supposed to block out the noise from everywhere else.. but, I cld hear that woman on the bike next to me yakking away in her stupid heavily accented chinese.. which irritates me esp when im working out!!

And there was the sucky music on my ipod. Ironically, the music selection in MY Ipod was a bore.. time to ditch the songs for nicer ones..

And then, there was the sucky sickly feeling after my gym session.. My whole body felt weak and I felt faint suddenly when I was at nebo... Sigh..

But I was glad that all that suckiness was neutralised by the toy that Trav dear bought me!! Dumbo Deary!

Its really damn cute and nice and soft! And his eyes resemble mine!! (see below)

And I like it cos it is fat and huggable.. just the way i like..

GReed is the root of all Flabs

Sigh...I had been too greedy lately.. and thus end up feeling horribly flabby...I was at the gym today and looking at those flabs in the thighs and everywhere, I decided to make changes to my work out regime and cut down on those fatty chocorolls..

No More buying in tins.. and Ive decided to fit in gym on the days I dont play tennis.. I need to run more...


My bunny had been greedy lately too! He does not eat the usual Bunny food, ie carrots, vege.. Instead, he craves for Pandan bread... The entire loaf was all fed to him.

Cos... I always give in when Fluffy gives me the puppy eye look...He ate an entire half a slice that day all at once!!

This is another Greedy boy! We chanced upon this funny chocoroll at NTUC the other day.. Cute name for a box of choco roll.. But it didnt taste good...

Im glad to have a greedy buddy, Trav Dear.. At least, I have sum1 to eat 70% of the junk whenever we share junk food!! MUACKXXX

A new Bear-CAt

Got a new little addition to nettyland toys lately.. Trav dear and I were walking around PS and he brought me to the place that makes soft toys! I forgot what its name is.. but there are a few outlets around...

Here are the steps in making this cutie

Step 1: Pick the toy u want... They have loads of un-fluffed toys for you to pick from.. tigers, rabbits, cats, bears.. dinos..

I chose this pinkish bear cos it was one of the cheaper few, at about $25.90.. and it could pass of as a cute little cat which I was looking for

Step 2: Select a voice for the toy.. Since I had meant this to be a little cat, I chose the one that said MEeeowww Meoowww Meoowwww...

Step 3: Fluff the flat bear.. this is where the back of the bear has a tube inserted.. and u get to choose hard or soft.. I wanted it soft so that I cld hug it.. but Tracv said the hard one cld last longer.. and remind me of his toned body when he is dieting..

hah...

but I prefer the soft one still la... the feeling of his soft and cute stomach..

Step 4: Pick a heart for the toy.. hold the heart in ur hand and make a wish.. and then kiss the heart before it is placed inside the bear... Afterwhich the bear wld be sewn up..

Step 5: Pick the bear's undergarmets, clothes, accessories.. I cldnt decide what to pick, and thot the price wasnt right.. not worth the $.. so my bear went home... NAKED!!

The last step involved printing her birth cert and giving it a name.. so here's mine...

My heart ached for him

TRav Dear sliced his own finger and cut into half of his thumb nail today while he was repairing our table at nebo... I saw how it happened and it was really really painful...It was bleeding profusely and sigh...

Seldom do I see him in soo much pain.. the last was when I threw a basketball at him with too much strength and he twisted his middle finger till it swelled like a jumbo dog..

Today was the new menu launch at the cafe .. we had mixed feelings.. cos we did not know how the different grps of customers would react to the new pricing.
After some reaction, we decided to go with the student's meal even during the sch vacation so that our beloved customers would feel appreciated.

We printed some publicity posters for the cafe as well.. featuring the food and.. ourselves!!

We wanted to feature the boardgames actually.. and we recently had a shoot done for NTUC, so might as well..

Yea boardgaming at the cafe can really be this FUN!! (laugh till eyes cant be seen)

Ahh...The damage GSS has done to me so far

Its only day 3 of GSS but quite abit of a damage has been done.. 3 pairs of heels/sandals in 2 days, even with utmost control over my spending...

More to come... when I get the chance to shop somewhere else besides AMK hub..

My excuse to Buy more: so that I don't need to shop for the rest of the year...

My Sunday..

Woke up today with horrid muscle aches in my thighs.. A result of the long long run after a long long time..Call me wierd, but I actually like the feeling of achy muscles..cos I kinda feel leaner..

Was at Raffles City with daddy and mummy today.. the GSS made my day!! I got a pair of sandals at 70% off.. so I only paid $26 for it.. Pretty cute pair.. it has a chain of fishies on the sandal strap..

Went to Downtown East for dinner with daddy and mummy.. They havent been there since Ehub opened, so I brought them around... There was nothing much that we wanted to eat there.. and we ended up having Zhi Char.. eeekkk

I kinda feel guilty.. I am very picky with food... I hate chinese food, and I dont eat rice, and I dont eat deep fried food... I generally dont like to eat alot of things.. I always feel bad when mummy has to ask me if the food suits me before deciding to eat at a food outlet..

luckily Trav dear is understanding and eats anything and everything..

Gone fishing for his little cat

Yea, my dear boy went fishing in Dayang... so I am left alone in Singapore for 4 days... Its pretty hard to not miss him.. Cos so many things in my life remind me of him... That day, he drank 2 cups of Slurpee like one after the other and was proud of his blue tongue (see pic)

In order not to feel lonely, I did what I missed doing alot.. went for a long long night run at the breezy ECP.. Like doing that alone, with no handphone... Just me, my jogging attire and shoes and blasting music on my Ipod.. Kinda feel good now.. After burning those cals.. and that nice long walk home frm ECP.. seldom get to do that..

Had a wierd time at the cafe this morning..had to open the place at 10am just for a VIP, which, till now, I still do not know who she is or where she is from.. Such things are silly.. but I guess in Singapore, must Law by Law lor...Otherwise will kena demerit point...

Went to my models' casting that day for an upcoming project.. kinda wierd cos me, being the booker for the agency, was not allowed to go into the casting room.. GRRR... So Silly again..Being there reminded myself of the days where I attended castings.. Now, I kinda see modelling in another perspective.. very different from before..
Met Shn and Jesicca at the casting..havent seen them since Miss Earth in 2006... Ah.. I just look super tanned.. Jesicca no longer has to complain she is tanned cos there is sum1 way darker than her by like a mill times..

Aiyo... I look so short in the pic... Shn is 176.. I am 172.. but I look like I'm 10cm shorter here.. Blame the heels...And I look super CHao-Da next to Shn... Blame the sun... but i like it that I'm tanned la..

Damn.. am suppose to bake my fudge brownie for Trav dear..but, I tink I'll bake it tmr.. otherwise I will just wollop everything and pass him just one small inch of it.. then I have to lie to him that the rest were not up to standard and were thrown away..

Feeling soo greedy these days.. Am always craving for Chocoroll (the choc love letters) and chocs at night.. Tink I beta go to slp.. so that I wont keep thinking about food.. (Something DEFinitely induced by Trav.. )

Preview of our new blog shop

Had been preparing the stuff for our new blogshop.. Yea, Travs and mine.. Took pics for the 1st batch of clothes last Friday and it was bad.. My camera had no batt despite remembering I had charged it.. then stoopid Trav kept nagging and nagging.. cos he had to use his hp to take those pics..

I like this top, but I only brought one piece back cos ther was only 1 piece left... I wanted to keep it for myself.. but Trav dear nagged at me.. =( He said I have sooo much clothes already...SELL!!

Havent done photoshoots in ages and I am not that good with photoshoots either..Here, I think I look like a little girl..got that shy-ish kinda smile...

Think I should try some "mod-look" shots for collection 2..

Before Trav could say no, I quickly kept this piece for myself.. Shall do so for the rest of those pieces that I want..

Anyways... hope our shop does well...

The little girl in me awakens...

Been busy with things at the cafe lately.. We are going to launch a new menu soon and so we had to take new pics of food..

Trav dear was the photog whille my new toy, called Deary bear modelled with the food.. BTW, he is called deary bear cos of the close resemblence he has to someone.... =p

We also bought a new cupboard for the movie room so that the room looks neat and tidy.. Being business pple, we are definitely cost conscious.. thus, we ended up buying an ikea cupboard of a wierd woody color with white doors for the room.. to save a few hundred $$$..

Sooo in the end, we bought black paint and i painted it! Not too bad a job... (see pics below)

That black piece is the cupboard door.. Trav assembled the cupboard after i painted all the panels and left it to dry over nite. The little animals were painted by the litle girl in me...(I never did well for Art in school)

Havent been blogging for soo long!! Had been bz with work lately, and that is great news cos it only means business at the cafe and the modelling agency is going great!





Went to Bangkok a few weekends ago with my family to get stocks for the blog shop. It was great! But after I got back, I never really wana buy anymore stuff from Singapore, even from the blogshops here cos I know how much those clothes cost. Am gonna start the shop soon and I hope things go well.. Especially since it is going to be something with Trav dear..





Recently, I have been feeling alot more for little cats out there on the streets, wanting to feed them my food at the coffeeshops, calling out to them wen Trav dear drives past any of them... I was sad when he drove past a dead cat on the road, squashed probably by a car.. Its head was detached from its body.. =(

Well anw, here is one of the little cats that i feed at the coffeeshop.. He eats all the fish cake that i dont like.. the fats on the chicken which i dont eat.. And the meat in the tail of the prawn..
