Movies and movies...

Trav and I had been catchin lots of movies lately... partly cos of the bad weather lately.. Caught Forgetting Sarah Marshall yesterday and Wall-e today...

Sarah Marshall was funny...entertaininly funny...good for those who just wana relax after a long day.. The show was mostly set in Hawaii, so they have this thing about Hawaiian names.. and they even have a name convertor on their website:

(Probably useful if we head there one day)

Wall.e was nice... didnt expect it to be so much more than it seemed in the trailers... We thot it was a boring movie and din wana watch it.. but Im glad we did!

This week was a unproductive and lazy week for me... I felt useless...and there was a lack of physical activity...
Next week shall be a super productive week and I shall make sure I fill my time with meetings, work and stuff... And of course lots more work out sessions...=)

102 DAys to the StandChart Marathon

It sounds like a long time.. but given the state that Im in, I'd better buck up my training for my 10Km Run...

The bad weather foiled plans to do a 10Km Run outdoors today.. so I ended up on the tmill..

Didnt like it at all...Cos the gym had a super sour smell of those men's around me.. and I was bored on the tmill for 60mins.. and started wondring if the speed on the tmill was measured in miles/hr or km/hr... Duh...

My aim is to complete the 10Km in less than 60mins... it was no mean feat for me last yr.. I cld complete it in 53 mins.. but now finishin in 60 mins is an accomplishment..

But well, Im just gonna enjoy my run and forget abt timings... I guess that's why I started running in the 1st place anw..

A little Trip to the SPCA

I love Fridays!! That is at least for the past few weeks.. It is the only day that Trav dear and I get to spend the whole day together and take a little time off work..

The rain changed our plans for Tanjong beach and we ended up at SPCA to look at little pets.. I was glad the dogs were all caged up.. Some of them were really huge! But they looked really pitiful..They all had that "take me home" look on their faces..

All the pets there were interactive..as you walk along, the dogs wld stick their head in between the bars as if to say they needed a home..

The cats were kept in a little enclosure and they could play with one another.. I went inside the room and most of the cats were sleeping.. These are the grown up ones and there were a few fat ones..

This one was trying to Poopoo when his friend came and disturbed... I guess he cldnt shit in peace so he did not after all..

The younger cats were kept separately in cages in anoter room.. I fell in love with this little one the moment I laid eyes on it..

It started meowing at me with the most innocent tone and stared at me.. I put my hand thru the cage and it placed its head at my hand so that I cld stroke it..

There were bunnies as well!! This one was our fave cos his hair resembled Trav dears..

Kid's Kampong!!!

Trav dear brought me there again the other day to visit the little animals!


I always pity them cos they all seem super hungry and when u throw the pellets into their cage they rush for the food..

Cute little duckies!! They peck on the food soo fast.. I really pity them..

The white goose is as noisy as always.. just how it was the 1st time I saw it last year.. It always goes "Wowowowowo...wowowowowo..."

And white goosey has a partner, brown goosey... Brown Goosey is super Lun Zhun.. it tries to get on the blue crate platform, but always trips and falls back in the water.. and it likes to irritate people watching it..

It flaps its wings, as if trying to sprinkle water all over you..

And my best fwens!! The bunnies are cute as usual.. and this time, there are baby bunnies hiding inside the wooden hut!! They were really shy, so they didnt dare to come out.. They just peeked ut through the door

This was taken last year.. This is how hungry they are!! The only time they are fed, I guess, is when guests buy the animal feed.. mostly on weekends.. Im quite sure of this, cos comparing my Fluffy bunny and these rabbits, these rabbits are just anorexic..

Yea the same white goosey that goes wowowowo... I think it remembers me... kinda...This was taken like last year, but the white goosey still looks skinny.. proof that they arent really fed..Poor little animals..

1 nitemare and 2 dreams.. all in one night

Yea, it was really disturbing.. having woken up from the nitemare at 4am, "panting" but relieved. I was dreaming about war times, and had boarded a cab only to find the driver a baddie, and that he was taking us to be tortured.

I always dream about wars.. I have a thing about analyzing my dreams.. and in last night's nightmare, I was always escaping from the baddies in the war.. So I searched, and found this analysis:

your need to escape from a restrictive situation or attitude. On the other
hand, it may mean that you are taking an escapist attitude and are
refusing to face up to problems that are not going away.To dream that you escape from injury, from an animal, or from any situation, signifies your good health

The last part is prob the most relavant.. signifying good health... prosperity, not quite yet..
But I still think I had that dream cos I was sooo soo disturbed by my hair cut yesterday.. my stylist did not live up to my expectations and I was still toying with whether to re'cut it elsewhere..

Small issue but it disturbed me soo much.. Im just very particular about how I look la.. Ive always hated going for hair cuts since young cos it always turn out a disappointment..

Had 2 other dreams after i went back to slp.. the second was about arguing about sumthing that I cant quite recall..
