Sooo Many prezzies prezzies!!

Been keeping myself busy watching these DVDs.. some of which belonged to the videotape of disney cartoons I watched as a little ger!!

My fave were dumbo, sleeping beauty, that cartoon with the two doggies who ate spaghetti and kissed.. these DVDs bring back really sweet memories!!

The 3 DVDs cost only $14.90... and I guess it was made in china... given that on the menu page, the word "menu" was translated as "cai dan" and language was spelt as "Lanwage"... but still, the cartoons were as cute as ever!! Thank you deareee for the gift!!

And these chocolates satisfied my craving... the almost daily choco craving.. thanks again dearee!

Why I love Running

Just came back from a run and I feel Great!! It's been a while since I had such a run.. been either lazy, ill or playing too much tennis..

Here are reasons y I love running... over most, if not all other sports:

1. It helps tone me up faster than any other sports (other than weight training, which I dont like)
   
2. It's me against myself!! And it's a time off for me and myself!
3. I feel lighter, my clothes fit better, I eat healthier after my runs
4. It's a great way to lose the stubborn,final 5kg..really..
5. The beautiful scenery takes loads off my mind
6. I love the runner's high
7. Best of all...

I love the pinkish flush on my cheeks and feel sexier with the after running glow (actually the sweat) on my skin!

Not the usual Manicure =)

I gotta admit having ugly nails is a pet peeve of mine.. so I always try my best to have regular manis and pedis... signed up for package even...

And today, I gotta really special manicure session.. A male manicurist very enthusiastically insisted that he painted them..

Like this... (purely nail polish, no buffing, removing cuticles... kinda like an express manicure)

So, with my hand resting on the remote control manual, he painted... and painted...

with intense effort and concentration.. and I felt bad that he had to inhale all that stinky polish odour..

The polish was not the end...

The special service even included nail art!! Yea pretty red flowers with a white bud! =)

And off course Nette was one satisfied "customer"!!! Din have to pay for the very decent job done!

And here is the very special Manicurist!! Hunky, tall, dark, handsome...

Too bad tho.. his service is excusive...to me!

Window shopping and Blog shopping!!

These days, I hardly buy any apparel off the shelf...shopping in malls to me are just of a "workout" and for me to buy shoes and make up.. And doing so has saved me loads of $$!!


I spend at least 50% less on clothes each month.. and only buy make up when Watson's or wherever has a sale.. Ditto for shoes/heels...



Got this pair of heels from Trav dear at $18 only! Was really a steal! I love the straps and the height it gives me! It's really useful for castings and photoshoots.. and catwalk training..

And although it will not be as comfortable as ninewest or Aldo, fitting in gel cushion padding would solve everything!


I hardly ever think the clothes and bags I see at the shops are worth buying anymore... Especially when the exact same piece, or similar piece can be bought below $30 online, whereas the one at the shop costs $60..

There are like hundreds of blogshops around now.. it's like a mini Chatuchak, online version.. or an online platimum mall..So far all my blogshopping experiences had been great! Except for one, at ShopLah...

I must say, the clothes look totally different in the pictures posted online.. And I am not the only one who think so.. There was an article that ran in the papers some time ago about other ladies complaining about this blogshop too! Well anyway, a lousy shop will just lose all its customers one day, especially when there are hundreds of better ones out there..

Anw, I really do not recommend buying clothes from shops unless they have their own models (most of the time the owners) wearing the exact piece.. Some really nice and friendly shops are Saycheezels, noirebelle,sunshine clover...

What's wrong?

Yea Sumthing's wrong... I seem to be tired, lethargic and feeling ill lately.. I could wake up in the middle of the night wanting to puke, and then waking up the next day feeling alrite, and then waking up again the following day with a cold and headache...

This is ruining loads of my plans... had to cancel the casting trip today, couldn't go running for days... and I ran like an old old engine the other day...
Felt so weak and shitty, the ah peks were all out running me..

Damn...
And standchart is in less than a mth.. talk about 10km being nothing to me in the past.. I now have to even reconsider going for it..

And oh well, I never knew people read my blog, except for Trav dear...

The beginning of the weddings...

He is only 24... Wonder how he will look like at 30.

All the bball guys.. and me, the only bball girl at that table..

The class who always had the most stringent checks on discipline.. hair length, nail length, skirt length....

It was really sweet to have more than half the class and many other school mates at the wedding.. so proud of this class!

The Big Walk

Woke up at 530am this morning...

It was more than a 5km walk and we treaded thru muddy grounds, narrow bridges... and the sun came out while it was humid at the same time...

Nothing too spectacular abt Marina Barage too.. except the nice breeze and view from the bridge..

I felt bored at times walking.. that's why I prefer running... Not much of a kick out of walking and I was still fresh after the 6km walk..

And I saw some very self-centered people today.. When queuing up for the bus back to Suntec, some angry people were shouting just bcos the volunteers let an old lady board the bus without queuing.. Poor volunteers got scolded for nuthin.
