Dear Sir/Madam,I refer to my tele-conversation with Ms Susan Phang at
1045hrs on Tuesday, 15th September 2009 at the helpline (1800 2255432)I have
explained the following to her and am following her instructions to send this
email to whom it may concern. On 14th September 2009, I received a notice
(H0115017R (Zone 3) of a $50 fine due to" parking in a season parking place
without possession of a valid season parking ticket"We were appalled to receive
this as we had not been to Woodlands in the past months, or even years. We
reside in Bedok Reservoir, and have no reason to be in Woodlands, especially at
1215am on 1st Sept 2009. I strongly believe that a mistake has been made by the
parking attendant in recording the vehicle number. In addition, we did not
receive any fine ticket which is usually placed at the windscreen of the car. I
have expressed my worry about the short time span given to pay up this fine, as
I believe it will take a while for your investigations. However, I was assured
by Miss Phang that you will put this fine on hold. Please correct me if this is
not the case. This has caused my family distress as we are always complying with
the law and paying up fines,if any, on time. I hope that you will be able to
look into this and appreciate that you could get back to me soon. I can be
reached at xxxx xxxx.Thank you for your time.So this was what I wrote to the HDB board.. on 15th Sept.. And this is the bloody reply I got...
How sincere... Not even a hint of apology for their bloody mistake, for which I had to call them up, after which email, and we even received a 2nd letter of notice for the fine.
Daddy had to go all the way down personally to get this settled. And all these trouble for??
A pathetic 2 liner reply? And not even an apology for THEIR mistake? And see how long they took to reply..
Dear Ms Jeanette WeeParking Offence Notice No.H0115017R/SGG7412D
