I had a great Saturday morning 2 Sats ago.. headed to Tanjung beach for a nice tanning and relaxing time.. We laid at the tanning benches at KM8 and the music was great.. Trav dear and I hardly have the time to really relax like this without any worries or disturbance from phone calls etc.. I loved that I could laze on the bench, enjoy the sun, enjoy the breeze, enjoy the beautiful beach right before my eyes.. That's definitely the 1st place I wld wana go to if I had nothing to do all day!
I also recall a day where I made Curry meatball rice for Trav Dear. Guess it was a Sunday when Daddy n Mummy were outstation.. I made the meatballs from scratch and had it drenched in Japanese curry sauce.. I did not taste it, but if our resident chef Trav likes it, it has to be good!
This morning was the Miss Singapore International heats. I submitted the entry form and was quite hyped up about joining the pageant. I worked out a lil more to tone up, watched my diet.. but after deliberating about it since yesterday, I decided to forgo joining it this morning at the last min.
I just suddenly felt it was not exactly the right time.. I kinda feel a little regret, but at the same time less "stressed" about this, kinda relieved suddenly. But I will still continue working out like this, cos I love looking at a nice, tanned and lean body every morning when I wake up.. and I had better train abit for the Standchart 10KM run..
This is not just about vanity, its all about loving and respecting your body. No one likes to look at buldges under tight t shirts, nor a distasteful wobbly tummy, buttocks and thighs in a bikini. To me, a woman has to love herself by taking care of her well being, even after marriage
This is vital to keeping her relationship going..I mean, we cant always blame the man for their straying eyes if his wife transforms totally after marriage.. So, to me, a woman should still continue to groom herself no matter what. She should still continue to dress up, put on make up, comb her hair, go for manicures n pedicures, work out at least 3 times a week and watch her diet even after marriage..
I just thought of pening my thoughts cos I totally agreed when I read an article in shape magazine by Janice Lee-Fang about married women not caring about how they look after marriage, and also after observing other women whenever I am out..
