Nothing is worse than having a bad experience at a restaurant/cafe, especially when you are looking forward to a nice dinner celebration..
It was our 2nd time at Hog's breath. We loved the food and great service the 1st time we were there.. Although the food was too pricey, the quality and attentive wait staff compensated for that..
But after today's horrid experience with both the food and service, we are never going back..
The waiter who took our order just simply gave an impression that he did not want to be there..I ordered Salmon, and he said "No more salmon". Could he at least put it more politely?? So I ordered chicken instead.. And Trav ordered the same steak..
We also got a refilliable soft drink at $6.50++ per cup. The ice tea was obviously from FnN, like what we had a nebo, but it was totally diluted. Defninitely intentionally.
The waiter then came to me and said my chicken was not avail.. I was just thinking of walking off already.. then he said "Because we ran out of Avocado" So I told him, just forget about the Avocado. I'll still have the chicken.
Trav's Steak came.. it looked like a dish meant for dogs. The steak had no sauce or garnishing. Even dogs have more presentable food these days! We then realised, we had only knives at the table. We had much difficulty getting the attention of the waiter for our forks. Then, someone brought us 2 bottles of tomato sauce to go with our food.. Wow...generous..
Lucily my chicken breast was forgiving.
We spent almost 5 minutes trying to get someone to bring us the bill. Frustrated, we went straight to the POS and asked for the bill.
$80 bucks spent on shitty service and shitty doggy food. What a let down..
We left with dampened moods..
Marche would have been a happier place for us.. WTH...
