Finally, a weekend away from work

Left for Genting with my family and a few other condo neighbors on Friday. The trip was extra enjoyable cos the bus came over to our condo to pick us up, and the entire bus was with pple we knew and lived with..

The bus was like a plane cabin.. the seats made the journey so much more bearable.. The seat had a massage function, adjustable leg rest and seat incline function. It was so comfortable to sleep on, with leg room so adequate, I could stretch my legs out and still not hit the chair in front.

And there were games and movies to kill time.. Lunch was at one of the many food outlets within Genting..Mummy looked so happy when her food came.. and my quarter steamed chicken looked more like half a chicken..

Dinner was at the Mushroom farm, a few metres below the resort.. It was a Friday nite, and the place was packed. Table after table, it filled up immediately after they cleared it, and we had to wait despite having made a reservation.

The food there was dirt cheap. A meal for 14 costed only RM270..We had frog leg, a whole steamed fish.. and loads of other dishes..

If only nEbO could be like this every weekend..

Went in to the Casino for the 1st time since I turned 21. Had my IC checked everytime I went in..

it is a good thing...

It was fun learning about the table games and playing them for fun with daddy and my brother.. our stakes were low, considering that there were people betting thousands at a time..

Spending time in there felt like there was no recession..

My brother brought us around KL the next day.. KL is his 2nd home town.. We had breakfast at a really nice place.. and that was where I spotted a hotel, named after me...

And there was a toilet at the mall we had our Tim Sum breakfast at..

To have water from the tap, you have to spin the wheel.. took us some pushing, pressing and all before we figured out how it worked..

It was a great cardio workout walking from mall to mall.. didnt really get a lot tho.. The only great buy was probably my Freshkon contact lens. They cost $38 a pair in Spore, but in Msia, just RM50, which is $21!!

By evening on the 2nd day, I was too tired to take any photos.. The after effect of spending too much time at the casino, which led to too much cigarette smoke inhalation, a lack of beauty sleep, and walking and shopping for half a day in KL.. zzzz
