Tired and worn out emotionally
Ive havent really felt "happy" happy for a while..I'm always worried about what the problem is with his stomach, and when you really care for someone, all that rubbish "what ifs" keep popping up in my mind endlessly..and even when I try to brush these negative thots aside, they can never really go away..
And perhaps it's time we have a nice long break.. working our butts off for the past weeks robbed us of time out together..I miss going to special places like the zoo, or even the mall with Trav..but if he doesnt get any better, we will also not be able to go out to have fun..
And perhaps, we girls need a little nice surprise sometimes..perhaps I should fall ill too.. then I get some nice surprises and someone to cook me porridge, buy my fave sweets and feel that little lub lub feeling...
The Solution to the lazy girl's manicure
So I went hunting around for Acrylic nails and finally found something I like..It's easy, just stick it on and that's about all.. no need to struggle to get card out of my wallet for fear of ruining the manicure anymore..Yay!! Zebra preens!!
I Am proud of them!
Doing good deeds entails good karma... they won something at the prize presentaton dinner yesterday! 21st prize in the lucky draw.. not too bad uh..
And when I saw the wrapping paper, I just couldnt help but take a pic of it.. It was about a little lamb/sheep and a bad wolf trying to catch it... Cuuuute!!!

Shoes and heels!!
Bought really cheap dresses from Dorothy perkins.. plus a nice white top to go with my leggings, a nice studded belt at $13 bucks, shoes (totally love the stars studded on them!) and a pair of heels (Finally found one that is both comfy and super stylish) !! Everything was really cheap! Nothing was more than $35 bucks..
That's how I love to shop!! I love buying things that cost very little, but look like it costs a million bucks! Looking chic doesnt mean you have to spend half your paycheck on branded stuff!! Definitely not!!
Shopaholic
Nothing feels better than buying the things I like with my own hard earned money..

Torn and tattered clothing
He loves collecting his torn and tattered t shirts, singlets and shorts/pants, still wearing them at home. ( Sometimes even to the gym!! )
I love to laugh at him whenever I spot a hole somewhere... cos sometimes, the holes would be at most vital and appropriate places.
The holes now have a new name, Holey Moley... Today, Trav again spotted a pair of shorts with holes.. lots of tiny ones and a huge one..
So, I took it home to mend it for him!! I was short of some cloth to mend it, so I cut up an old tank top.. And on purpose, I chose a red one with Star Preens!!! heh..
Yay!! Fixed!!Thursday, October 8, 2009

How f-up some govt boards can be
Dear Sir/Madam,I refer to my tele-conversation with Ms Susan Phang at
1045hrs on Tuesday, 15th September 2009 at the helpline (1800 2255432)I have
explained the following to her and am following her instructions to send this
email to whom it may concern. On 14th September 2009, I received a notice
(H0115017R (Zone 3) of a $50 fine due to" parking in a season parking place
without possession of a valid season parking ticket"We were appalled to receive
this as we had not been to Woodlands in the past months, or even years. We
reside in Bedok Reservoir, and have no reason to be in Woodlands, especially at
1215am on 1st Sept 2009. I strongly believe that a mistake has been made by the
parking attendant in recording the vehicle number. In addition, we did not
receive any fine ticket which is usually placed at the windscreen of the car. I
have expressed my worry about the short time span given to pay up this fine, as
I believe it will take a while for your investigations. However, I was assured
by Miss Phang that you will put this fine on hold. Please correct me if this is
not the case. This has caused my family distress as we are always complying with
the law and paying up fines,if any, on time. I hope that you will be able to
look into this and appreciate that you could get back to me soon. I can be
reached at xxxx xxxx.Thank you for your time.So this was what I wrote to the HDB board.. on 15th Sept.. And this is the bloody reply I got...
How sincere... Not even a hint of apology for their bloody mistake, for which I had to call them up, after which email, and we even received a 2nd letter of notice for the fine.
Daddy had to go all the way down personally to get this settled. And all these trouble for??
A pathetic 2 liner reply? And not even an apology for THEIR mistake? And see how long they took to reply..
Dear Ms Jeanette WeeParking Offence Notice No.H0115017R/SGG7412D
I refer to your email of 15 Sep 2009. We have looked into your case and cancelled the Parking Offence Notice. Yours sincerely

I love Fridays!
It's been a hectic week for me, with lots of lessons to teach. Broke my record by teaching 8.5 hours yesterday...
And am looking forward to the secondary sch class gathering this Sunday! We meet about twice a year and it is amazing to update one another on our lives, and realise how much we have grown and achieved..
Some are married, or are getting married, and its just nice to hear how happy and successful we have become, in our own ways..We have lawyers, a soon to be Phd holder, accountants, teachers, tutors..
till then...
